After nearly two years of hideaways, porta-potties and bad hair days, Natural Dreamers have emerged from the northern California lowlands with the antidote: a self-titled collection of 14 songs that do for West Coast pop music what Johnny Appleseed did for the American Wilderness. With just two guitars and a drum set, the Dreamers have brought into being a detailed and singular musical world which defies categorization, one moment recalling the fractured ballad writing of George Russell and the next the jarring riffage of US Maple.
